A Colombian judge released a 64-year-old man who admitted having seven children with his own daughter who he sexually abused for 24 years.
The farmer was arrested Tuesday after neighbors told authorities the children were suffering malnutrition and were living under inhumain conditions, a local police commander told television network Caracol.
On Wednesday a judge ruled that there was not enough evidence to keep the man in custudy after the daughter had given contradictory statements about her relationship with her father.
The farmer himself admitted being the father of his 38-year-old daughter's seven children.
The local Family Welfare office took custody of the children and their mother.
