Two oil trucks have been destroyed and three more damaged by bombs allegedly planted by Colombia's largest rebel group FARC, reported Radio Caracol Monday.

The incidents occurred on Monday afternoon in the La Esmeralda region of the southern department of Caqueta, resulting in several injuries.

The trucks, owned by oil company Emerald Energy, were apparently targeted by the FARC's 15th Front.

Army units have been deployed in an attempt to apprehend those responsible.
