Panama authorities dismantled four abandoned camps 6 kilometers from the Colombian border, thought to have been used by the FARC.
According to Mexican news agency Notimex, the National Border Service (Senafront) informed the Public Ministry about the findings on Monday.
The camps have capacity for fifteen or 20 people, according to Senafront head Frank Abrego, and may have been used by a total of 400 people over time.
The discovery comes two months after two border control officers were wounded by a mine.
