Colombian actress / model Sofia Vergara will make her debut on Broadway in April when she takes up a role in the musical Chicago.
According to the website of People Magazine, the Colombian bombshell will play the role of Mama Morton, the part that was played by hip hop star Queen Latifah in the movie Chicago.
The musical, after debuting in the big apple, will be moved to the Adrienne Arsht Center of Performing Arts in Miami.
Vergara, after gaining fame as an actress in Colombia played some minor parts in U.S. movies and on U.S. television.
