Pop singer Shakira on Tuesday sent a message of support to fellow-Colombian salsa master Joe Arroyo, who is in critical condition in a hospital in the two singers' hometown of Barranquilla.
"Joe, your country and all who love and adore you are asking for your health. Get well soon," the singer wrote on her Twitter page, adding a link to a video of Joe Arroyo performing "En Barranquilla Me Quedo."
Arroyo, considered one of Colombia's greatest salsa musicians ever, was hospitalized in late June and has been kept in intensive care ever since.
