Medellin has been bustling with beauty this week as the city's first major fashion event, Colombiatex, was held in the city.
Organizers hope that the three-day event, attended by 400 international and domestic producers and 1,500 buyers from 40 countries, will at least match the $119 million of business generated at last years event.
