Michelle Rouillard, Colombia's representative at the Miss Universe elections, did not make it to the finals of the world's most renowned beauty pageant. She was not elected as one of the world's fifteen most beautiful women. Winner, again, was Miss Venezuela.
Rouillard prior to the event did seem a favorite among those visiting the website of the beauty pageant. Miss Colombia had the sixth highest rating by voters.
Countries that did make it to the final of Miss Universe were Puerto Rico, Iceland, Albania, Czech Republic, Belgium, Dominican Republic, Sweden, Kosovo, Australia, France, Switzerland, South Africa, United States, Croatia and the winner, Venezuela.
It is the second time in a row the most beautiful woman of Colombia's neighbor country is crowned Miss Universe. Last year, Miss Colombia Taliana Vargas ended second after Venezuela's Dayana Mendoza.
